My desktop is Windows and i have no trouble connecting to internet. but when i put in the information(the passphrase, WEP key , ect) on to my mac. it wont connect to the internet. i have a WEP key on my router. when i connect from my modem directly to my macbook, i can get onto the internet. im kinda confused on this...i was trying to find what the problem is all day...i even tryed to ...

Ok, heres the rundown, i have one pc with two network cards, one card (Internet) has internet access and the other card (LAN)is attached to a network device. Internet connection sharing is enable so that LAN can access the Internet. Heres the hard part, the network device has basic settings (IP, Subnet, Gateway) but no proxy settings, now what i want to do is let this device access the internet thru a proxy server, is that possible?
